The Mongwa (Great Horned Owl Kachina) appears in the Mixed Kachina Dance or Ordinary Kachina Dance where he keeps the Clowns in line with his yucca whips. He also takes part in the Bean Dance and Water Serpent Ceremony on the First Mesa
